They take off and land frequently each day...I can hear them from our place but thankfully we don't live this close, it's very loud--I suppose one would adjust and wouldn't hear them after a while. Didn't have this kind of traffic near the floathome I was in, don't think I would have liked that too much! BTW Tammy, your question about storms is answered in yesterday's comments. And if interested, here are some shots on my other blog of the marina where I used to live on a float home: Click HERE and HERE

Another great series of pictures. I just always look forward to what you post next, always so unique! These all have great color in them and love those things w/ wings! :)
I read your answer to yesterday's post - I think I would get sick bouncing back and forth in a storm! Not sure my nerves could handle that - you've got nerves of steel!
Thanks Tammy! I'm enjoying sharing my city...maybe I should be involved in tourism somehow? : )
I think breaking loose in the snow in the middle of the night during a storm makes even a scaredy cat brave! (because there really is no other choice! lol)
These are great shots full of wonderful color but I think that plane is just a little too close for comfort for me!! Be careful.....
So fascinating! I had the chance to see seveal float planes take off and land one evening and it was delightful. Your photos bring back the memory.
