#324 There's No Place Like Home
Looking down into the village of Gold River, my hometown. This small community is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Vancouver Island. It became world-famous via media coverage in 2001 with the arrival of Luna the Killer Whale, who sadly passed in 2006.

As I keep saying, you live in paradise! What a view!
What a great place to grow from, infancy into puberty then into adultry! So much outdoor activity too! But you can't see the forest for the trees. Wish I hadn't grown up in the city, so restricting.
Lovely place - need to add it to places I need to see!
