#315 Symbols
These symbols can be viewed at the Centennial Square Fountain, which was a gift to Victoria from Esquimalt (a bordering municipality) to commemorate the centenary of progress (1862-1962). This area is undergoing another change--->1.65 million dollars is being spent constructing Victoria's Spirit Square (to make the area more inviting to the public and to increase opportunities for celebrations and events). It is scheduled to be completed by the end of June. Although I'm sure it will be a welcomed improved space in the city, personally, I would have used the money differently. More information can be found HERE

The wide shot gives a perspective but your cropping was masterfully done. Great Shot.
Great sculpture. I love the detail in the cropped photo.
Great history behind the symbols and great images!!
I know money could be better spent taking care of humanity, but if we don't know the past, how can we determine the future? I like the sculptures.
I love all the details in those monments/sculptures! Wonderful shots!
