#107 Footwear
These red hikers were photographed today but worn by my Swedey as a youngster while growing up in Sweden. The pic below with him wearing them was obviously taken a long, long time ago! [Both pics have been vignetted]

Great closeup of the boots and I love the fact that you included the 2nd picture and linked the theme to a precious memory. Very well done!

Didn't realize you were from Canada until I read your mention of "Shaw". We have the same service in Ontario where I am. Nice to "meet" you!

How cool that you still have the boots! Like Pat, I think that adding the second pic made the 1st more meaningful. Thanks for sharing!

Donna, it is so cool that you still have these boots! You captured them beautifully in your photograph and the picture of your Swedey made your photograph even more special.

I love how the boots are positioned - the detail in the leather and the laces! Great picture! Thanks for the back story!

You've done a great job on this post! Your image of the boots makes them so warm and real. And the old snapshot of your Swedey is precious!

How sweet!! Those boots seem larger than life to me, glad you have that second picture, lol.

I have a friend who has an outfit including booties, from when she was a baby, framed. Has one from her husband as well. I love seeing those when I go visit.

How cool to have the boots he was wearing in that picture!

Take care, Donna.

What a great one for the theme. I love the angle you have taken of the boots and including the original photo is inspired
